What is S4S?
Schools for Schools or S4S is a campaign that gives opportunities to university-based organizations to help public elementary schools by providing them with educational materials.
Any school organization with a forthcoming fundraising activity may register their event with S4S. By registering, the organization is given the opportunity to choose from a roster of public elementary schools in Bicol, Samar, Leyte and Biliran to help. The chosen school will be the direct beneficiary of their school event (concert, advance film screening, tiangge, sports event etc.)
What is in store?
When you register your fund-raising activity, S4S will help you drumbeat your event in the TV and Radio Community Billboards of ABS-CBN. We will also help arrange interviews and guestings to promote your event. Plus, we will post your event in the S4S web site.
You can also use the official S4S logo in your posters, banners and tickets of your fundraising activities.
And if your event is really cool and unique, we will even feature it for the entire world to see!
Why partner with S4S?
The ABS-CBN Foundation has 18 years of solid experience in conducting public service activities. From rescue and rehabilitation of abused children BANTAY BATA 163), rescue and relief assistance to disaster stricken communities SAGIP KAPAMILYA) to protecting the environment (BANTAY KALIKASAN), it is recognized as prime mover of Educational Television (ETV) in the country. To date, it has made educational television accessible to close to 8,000 schools from Batanes to Tawi–tawi.
The ABS-CBN Foundation is a partner of the Department of Education (DepEd) in promoting technology-assisted instruction since 1994. It has produced highly acclaimed ETV shows – Sine’skwela, Math Tinik, Hirayamanawari, Bayani, Epol/Apple, Silip, Detek Kids, Pahina as well as multi awarded educational radio program Bago ‘Yan Ah! To make the shows accessible, it has distributedmore than P400 million worth of hardware (TV sets, VHS and DVD players, tapes and discs) to schools. It also conducts regular teacher training, monitoring and evaluation of the proper implementation of ETV.. Through S4S, organizations are assured that their fundraising event will reach thousands of children in the disaster-prone areas of Bicol, Samar, Leyte and Quezon.
S4S will take care of contacting the school beneficiaries as well as organizing the turnover events - such a big help to school org officers who are exhausted after conducting fundraising events.
Why Bicol, Samar, Leyte Biliran?
The E-Media Program of the ABS-CBN Foundation chose the provincesA because of several reasons. For Bicol, many schools were wiped out when typhoons Aand Reming devastated the province. Libraries and all of their contents were swept away, for months most schools were converted into evacuation centers. Now that schools are being re-built, S4S believes that the educational materials can help kids catch up with their lessons.
Samar, Leyte, and Biliran on the otherhand were chosen as majority of schools in poor coastal areas and remote barrios lack educational references. S4S is determined to make ETV available to disadvantaged but deserving communities.
How much should an organization donate?
S4S will accept any amount donated by organizations to the campaign. Organizations may also choose from three available S4S packages. Donations less than the packages’ cost will be pooled together with the donations of other organizations. The total amount will be used to adopt schools chosen by S4S per the recommendation of the Department of Education.

Includes 25 volumes of Bayani / Hirayamanawari. Donate a collection or a package.

2. Kapamilya Package - (price is available upon request)
Complete volumes of Sineskwela, Math Tinik, Epol/Apple, Hirayamanawari and Bayani in DVD format.
3. S4S Video Library Package - (price is available upon request)
