The E-Media Program produces educational television (ETV ) programs for classroom learning. To date it has 10 shows on various academic subjects. Selected episodes are available in DVD format and are widely used as reference materials in thousands of public elementary schools. For better utilization, trainings for teachers are conducted regularly.
Adopt-Your-Hometown School Campaign
The Adopt Your Hometown School Campaign was launched in 1998 in San Francisco CA. USA in response to the clamor of Filipino organizations and individuals in the US that were interested in making their hometowns as a beneficiary of fundraising activities. The campaign encourages Filipinos to “adopt” public schools by providing them educational television (ETV) packages to make educational shows ( Sineskwela, Math Tinik , Hirayamarawari, Bayani and Epol/Apple) accessible in their schools .
BAGO YAN AH! (BYA!)is an educational radio program that aims to develop comprehension and appreciation of the youth of science and technology . Since 1996, it airs Sundays over DZMM.BYA empowers grassroots sector by teaching skills on various fields such as fisheries and agriculture, biotechnology and nuclear energy among others.
The show is anchored by multi awarded broadcaster Angelo Palmones.
Schools for Schools or S4S is a campaign that gives opportunities to university-based organizations to help public elementary schools by providing them with educational materials.
Any school organization with a forthcoming fundraising activity may register their event with S4S. By registering, the organization is given the opportunity to choose from a roster of public elementary schools in Bicol, Samar, Leyte and Biliran to help. The chosen school will be the direct beneficiary of their school event (concert, advance film screening, tiangge, sports event etc.)
